Thank you to everyone who supported our first ever designer focused retrospective gallery event

We received incredibly positive feedback for everyone involved and we’re motivated to continue with this project series in the future

We sold a total of 63 tickets for the event and we’re happy to announce that we are able to donate $63.00 to the breast Cancer Society of Canada

We hope to include more charitable contribution for our future events and we’re thankful for the community who has constantly made our events a success

ISOLATED HERO is a one day only installation celebrating the legacy of celebrated menswear designer Raf Simons.

 
 

For this event, Archival Toronto prepared a retrospective mini-gallery with in-depth highlights from Raf's career and select examples from his extensive body of work.

ISOLATED HERO will feature the first-ever public viewing of his legendary AW01 runway show RIOT, RIOT, RIOT.

This never-before-seen archival footage is one of the only known recorded videos of what is arguably Raf Simons’ most famous collection.

A favourite among celebrities like Kanye West, Rihanna and Travis Scott, AW01 is highly regarded as Raf Simon’s most iconic runway show. It is a collection that is as relevant at inspiring fashion culture today as it was 17 years ago.

(1) There will be no photography, audio or video recording allowed at the time of screening. Anyone who is caught recording any portion of the video content during the event will be ejected from the venue without a refund and barred from re-entry.

(2) *The Donation to the BREAST CANCER SOCIETY OF CANADA will be done within 10 days from completion of the event, as a single lump sum donation. Total number of tickets sold and amount raised will be disclosed on this page for transparency within 7 days after the event and the proof of donation will be posted on this page within 7 days of donation acceptance.
